The Muskogee VA Medical Center provides a variety of medical and surgical care, with 500 employees serving approximately 128,000 veterans in eastern Oklahoma. With 50 authorized beds and comprehensive outpatient facilities, the Center's health care services range from primary care to nuclear medicine and intensive care. Medical services include cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, pulmonary, and respiratory care. The Center's recent change from chemical treatment to Dolphin System treatment on cooling towers and boilers was driven by both the protection of human health and energy savings needs. The payback on using Dolphin technology is estimated at 1.7 years following installation.
